Don Ciccio

This is probably Highgate's most upmarket restaurant, a real neighbourhood gem.Lovely interior, a mix of rustic and modern, with runners on tables at lunchtime, more formal tablecloths in the evening. The windows open out fully, so it's also light and airy. Love the food and the idea of serving lots of starters like the do in Sicily, plus three mains - veg, fish or meat - so you get a taste of everything for a fixed price in the evening. At lunchtime you can just choose a dish from the a la carte, there are some great salads too and some vegan dishes. They make their ice cream on the premises, it's really worth trying it. Especially the Sicilian Pistachio. I like the Lobster Linguine when it's on special. The seabass was delicious.
