This restaurant is an embarrassment to Italians and the respect and appreciation so many around the world have of Italian cuisine.

This is our first time to visit UK & Europe and this restaurant was a massive disappointment. It is a disgrace.

We made the mistake of not checking reviews prior to making our choice of restaurant. Whether you check the reviews on Trip advisor or other places, so many poor comments is not make believe.

Service was disgraceful plus they then argued with me when I questioned the charge. We had no service. The manager was rude and just stood there and shrugged his shoulders when I questioned the service & the charges when paying the bill. The food was definitely microwaved. It was excessively salty. The pasta was definitely a packet job.

Staff chewing gum when they spoke to you. The chap out the front had a takeaway delivered to him ( maybe that says something about the food at the restaurant) and proceeded to walk around the restaurant eating his food!!!! £8.90 for a beer which I was stupid enough to order!!! Overpriced for poor quality food.

I have the greatest respect for the difficulty of those in hospitality and I am not a regular to whinge or complain. However this restaurant if you read the consistency of the reviews should not be operating.

Obviously the management & owners do not care and certainly not willing to address their issues. If you are reading this review then please, believe these reviews because it is real. This restaurant is a shocker and being in business for over 40 years myself & dealing with clients, number one priority is listen to complaints to improve your business. Fortunately we had positives throughout our history. Very very sad that staff & in turn management do not care.

This is not how I normally react however I am so incensed in how the staff & management reacted & the standard of food, I will do what I can to pre warn people this is not a restaurant - it is an embarrassment. We talk about scams in this day & age - this is an open real scam pretending to be a quality Italian restaurant!!!!
Be assured this review is not about payback or spite - it is a legitimate warning as your research of reviews on other sites will show. Surely we are not all wrong.
