La Pizzeria Italiano

I discovered this restaurant by sheer luck on a walk home many years ago. I'm so glad I ventured in...the food is delicious, staff are friendly and the service is great. Definitely recommend yo give it a try. Try the Penne Maria..yum. A particular favourite of mine.

Good Food, good service, traditional Italian cuisine. Proper portions, excellent beer. If the chairs were more comfortable I would not leave!!!!! Bellissimo x

A little oasis hidden in the heart of Catford. In my opinion the best food ever in miserable catford. I have been there 4 times now and being of Meditteranean origin and knowing of good food,that is so rare in the Uk i can say, it is one of the best restaurants in London. The ingredients are incredibly fresh and special attention is given to presentation and detail while the atmosphere is excellent. U have a sense u are in Italy for a change.Also waiters are smiling and u can say it's from the heart.
The cheesecake at the end is a must!

A very busy little pizzeria located in the heart of "brutalist" Catford. The food is good quality but the wine list a tad on the disappointing side (at least for me). Portion sizes are excellent and you most likely won't leave hungry or too light in the wallet/purse department. I'd give it a higher marking if only for quicker service. However, the service suffers perhaps only because it's so busy - generally a very good sign, and in this instance, a deserved one.
