I must say I disagree with the poor reviews written, I absolutely adore this restaurant. As soon as my friends and I stepped in we were greeted with smiles and shown to our table right away, the staff were friendly and kept us entertained whilst we waited for the food. The food was absolutely lovely and inexpensive, I would definitely go back there again and would recommend it.

The only reason I have given this place 1 star is because there was nothing lower.
Service levels are simply abysmal and their noodles taste like tepid pot noodle. I am no psychologist, but would confidently diagnose the owner as suffering from some kind of Narcissistic personality disorder - it is not ok to treat other people like dirt, nor for food to taste like it. In short, the best thing about this place was leaving.

The food was excellent. The attitude of the staff not, so what started out as a pleasant meal out, finished as stressed and dissatisfied. I had not even finished my main course and was presented with the bill and when I asked to see the pudding menu I was only offered one of the options rather than be given a moment to make a choice.
If the staff did not hurry one to leave then it would have been brilliant. Change the staff and I would be back there in a flash with parties of interested diners.

I was introduced to this place by a Japanese friend, which I think was an excellent sign to start with.
I was amazed at how fresh everything was and what prompt service we had while not trying to rush us in the slightest.
The teriyaki chicken don is my favourite dish, I go time and time again whether I need to be quick or want a leisurely dinner with friends.
If you like Japanese food then you must try this place, you will not be disappointed!!

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been to.

I ordered a chicken noodle dish and instead got pork. When I complained the waiter tried to convince me that the meat was in fact chicken by grabbing bits of it into his hands and taking it apart.

When, after he put the meat pieces back on my plate, I said I was no longer interested in whether it was chicken or pork and would not eat the meal, he called the owner who then repeated the process of meat picking all over again.

I have never been treated so poorly by restaurant staff and was just completely shocked by their behaviour. To sum it up it was the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had

I work in Soho and love this place. The food is delicious, the service fast and friendly and all for some of the best prices in Soho. Today I had a mixed sushi platter, my colleagues had salmon teriyaki don and teriyaki chicken don (the very best dish of the house, with crisp skin, succulent chicken and yummy sauce on rice). For starter you can't go wrong with a bowl of endamame (cold soya beans to shell - great with beer), gyoza (dumplings) and for comfort, karoke (a potato crocquet type of dish). The staff are swift to take orders and to move you on but so sweet with it you can't take offence. Mr Taro usually presides over the restaurant and is quick to sort out any queries. Oh, just go!

This is one of my favourite restaurants. For a starter I always have the Pork Gyoza, which is a dumpling served with a most delectable sauce for dipping. I especially love the Salmon Terayaki don which is succulent and served on a bed of rice and vegetables. Wide selection of Sushi on offer. Service is quick and tables filled quickly. Not a place to dawdle in as the staff present the bill once they think you have finished.
