Gurkha Valley

We had a fantastic New Year's Eve celebration dinner at Gurkha Valley. The food was excelent, the service was excellent, the staff were helpful - recommending and suggesting dishes - they were ver welcoming. The restaurant is comfortable and clean. The atmosphere was good - not too noisy and not dull either. The bill was very reasonable and certainly good value for money. We would definately go again! - go on, give it a try!

Great little restaurant. The choice of dishes is far more varied than your typical indian restaurant... and not in the usual overwhelming way. The owner/manager is very helpful when it comes to selecting your meal, one word of warning some of the dishes do take longer to prepare, but they usually warn you about this. I pretty much have only had the Nepalese dishes - one nice feature is that they are not laden with oil. Pricing is fair (I live in central London, so maybe it is a little expensive for the area but worth it) I wish they were closer to where I live, but at least they are open until midnight - so doable after a concert. Just be aware what time the last tube leaves and enjoy a great Nepalese meal in a friendly environment. I plan to go back when U2 come to London.
