Really enjoy the food here. Watching it being cooked is a nice touch on your first visit but I now find it annoying especially when the queues are long.
I haven't been to the other Tiger Lil's restaurants in London but I'd like to see less seats and tables crammed in like they have in the Clapham restaurant.
All in all a nice place to eat, I'll definately be going again.
Launched in March 1995, Tiger Lil's is based on the Mongolian version of a barbecue; you help yourself to your food while it's raw and then queue up for it to be cooked in the woks which spit fire at the chefs like dragons. The result is whatever you want it to be really, because you choose all your meat, vegetables and sauces by hand and then instruct the chef how you like it done. This is the first branch of the Tiger Lil's chain. Catering for private parties is warmly welcomed upon request.
