Have visited this restaurant on several occasions, most recently for
Sunday lunch. Have had an excellent meal and service each time we have visited. Sunday lunch is a set meal with several choices and on the day we went, the chef had made a bread and butter pudding, which was not on the menu. We were offered it as an additional choice and it was superb.

Very good value for money and a nice clean restaurant.

Have been going to this restuarant since it opened. Has rapidly become my favorite and one of the few I would recommend. Love the food, all the staff are excellent. What more can I say but keep up the very good work

My wife and I love Italy and attended The Stuffed Olive in Sidcup as a pre-Christmas treat on 22nd December 2009. We were met by the manager 'Ake' who personally served us throughout or stay. We had never visited this restaurant before.

We shared 2 starters namely Calamari and a selection of Hummus, Tzatziki and Taramosalata with accompanying pitta bread. All were excellent and generous in portion.

Having returned from Sicily earlier this year, we noted a red wine from the Nero group of vineyards in this region which we selected. This robust smooth red wine that possessed subtle flavours of strawberries, was superb. The wine list includes several other Italian wines that are not readily available in the UK and are very reasonably priced. The ownwer Paul also allowed us to sample the House Red that was soft smooth and fruity. It was of a a very good quality that would allow it to be drunk alone or with an accompanying meal.

We accepted 'Ake's recommendation and ordered 2 fillet steaks - reqesting they be served rare and medium rare. Both were cooked to perfection as were the accompanying vegetables. These fillet steaks matched the finest Aberdeen Angus fillet steaks I have ever eaten as served by my wife.

After the first 2 courses, we were more than contented. However, after a brief pause, out of respect for the owner Paul who had taken a keen interest in ensuring our satisfaction, we tried the Lemon Posset as a sweet. Again it was delicious, generous in size, smooth, tangy and truly completed an outstanding meal.

The hospitality was outstanding and the owner Paul has undertaken to trace another wine - Nero Narke at our request as we will certainly be returning. Having read the article, I believe your previous reviewer ment like us to allocate 10 stars(and not the 5 shown)under your somewhat unusual 1-10 star scoring system.

Thanks Paul and your staff for providing us with such a memorable occasion. 10/10

I visited this restaurant sort of by accident recently. It was my fortieth birthday on 2nd February. The day when nearly the whole country was brought to a standstill by four inches of snow.

I had been due to go into town for a meal and the theatre but with all Southeastern trains suspended I had no option but to go local. Not that I have anything against eating locally, it was just that this was a special occasion and I had wanted something a bit special. Fortunately for me, one of the few places that had managed to stay open on a day when everyone was going nowhere turned out to be quite special.

The Stuffed Olive has a lunch/brunch a menu that would please most people. Based on a Greek Cypriot theme but with plenty of popular English dishes with a Mediterranean and a few little Italian numbers thrown in.

For lunch my party of three had some delicious olives and home made garlic bread to start the meal off accompanied by a very reasonably priced bottle of Prosseco. The starters we chose were Prawn Cocktail (an old favourite of mine), Grilled Sardines (and old favourite of my Mum's) and my third guest went for the Kalamari. All were very good, and although the three of us chose fish dishes, there was still plenty of nice meat and vegetarian dishes to choose from.

For mains we had the Chef's special Chicken (in a mushroom, cream and wine sauce) which was beautiful and served with a selection of beautifully cooked vegetables and sauté potatoes. I had the chicken souvlaki which came with chips and a lovely Greek salad on the side, and Mum's prime fillet steak was in her words "cooked to perfection" and one of the nicest steaks she has had in a long while.

Somehow we managed to find room for pancakes with syrup and ice cream and raspberry cheese cake. Again, all we delicious. And finished off to my surprise with a free birthday drink on the house which I thought was a lovely touch (I think they also felt sorry for us as we had come in frozen from t
