Absolutely disgusting service!!! They over charged me £36 because they claimed the order was for 10 people, when in actual fact there were only 8 people and never even confirmed or counted number of people on the table! Please avoid the restaurant as they are very dishonest people and have no idea about giving a good customer service.

No menus were provided and no break down on the bill. Jokers just put the value and that is it. Very unprofessional and I hope nobody else visits their restaurant. They don't deserve to be in business. Disgrace to our culture as well as our religion, which says to treat people with respect. Clearly this restaurant doesn't.

First and last time I will be visiting. Avoid at ALL COSTS!!!

Went to this restaurant recently with my family.
We were somewhat leary as we had heard the food was good but the service was not.
Sure enough when we didn't order within a couple of minutes (the waiter did not even want to explain any of the dishes) we were left sitting for approx. 25 minutes with no one stopping by the table again.
I noticed that the wait staff were very friendly to their fellow countrymen that came in after us and served them immediately while we were ignored.
The food I saw being served looked good however we never got a chance to try it; we left and went up the road to the Persia Restaurant that was very friendly and had excellent food.
It is a shame that a restaurant with a reasonable reputation for its dishes does not care about all its customers. Suffice to say there are too many other good places around so we will not be back.

Four of us, including our young Afghani friend, had dinner at Zeytoon tonight - we came across it quite by chance and had the most delicious meal accompanied by fresh, hot crispy baked naan. There is a lovely range of cold and warm starters - our favourites were the aubergine, the spicy pickles and the cucumber in yoghurt. For the main dishes there was so much choice and the meat very tender and salads freshly prepared. Our favourites were the lamb shank with almond and raisin rice, the lamb with cooked onions, the kebabs with rice. The portions were very ample. The soft drinks were very inexpensive for London and there was delicious doogh - a yoghurt drink with mint. After the meal we had fragrant Persian ice cream and Persian tea served in decorated glasses. All this is served in wonderful style and in such pleasant surroundings with tasteful authentic Persian/Afghani decor and furniture, wall-hangings, mirrors and paintings. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. For our disabled friend it was easily accessible, spacious, all being on one level and easy access from the road. This lovely restaurant is a real find and the food, drinks and service are exceptionally good value. We will definitely be back before long to sample other interesting looking items on the menu.

This is a place to experience the taste of Persia, very clean, efcient service, fantastic food, and reasonable price, can't wait to get back there again. No live music however if you are after a nice food you should consider this place. Try some of the recommended Afghan food for a chance as well it will surprise you how tasty they are. Ranges of all persian meal options, I recommend the Kobideh, the best I ever tased.
I hope their management keep the good work the same and not like other resturant to just offer good service and food at the begining and once they got busy the qality go down, this certainly hasn't been the case here since 2008, and I have been there more than 3 times so far.

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK
