About: It's all about the steak here; Meat is sourced from the UK, Nebraska and Italy and then dry-aged on-site, in a temperature controlled, dehumidified environment. No steak finds its way onto the menu before it's full concentration of flavour has been maximised and brought to the fore.
The accompanying wine is also a source of great pride here; it is bought from 30 different suppliers to ensure that only the best of each variety is brought to the table.
They do the work, so that you don't have to (as the saying goes!).
In a 2012 All In London interview Simon answered Goodman as one of his favourite London restaurants.
Goodman features in these AIL lists...
Restaurants for business lunches This New York steakhouse has branches in Mayfair, Canary Wharf and the City, as if deliberately targeting the capital’s business bods. Beef is grain-fed (with the exception of the grass-fed fillet), and you can also feast on Wagyu beef chorizo, lobster bisque and pan fried foie gras.
Our experience at Goodman was excellent. The restaurant is passionate about their steaks and before ordering the waiter brought the cuts to the table so we could take a look and have the different cuts explained.
