Contemporary Subcontinent Cuisine
Derived from the Imperial kitchen of the Mughal Empire (1526-1857 AD)
ZAF Barqat is a style of cooking developed in the Indian subcontinent by the imperial kitchens of the Mughal Empire. It represents the cooking styles used in North India (especially Uttar Pradesh and Delhi), Pakistan, Bangladesh and the Indian city of Hyderabad. The cuisine is strongly influenced by the regional cuisines of Kashmir and the Punjab region.
The tastes vary from extremely mild to spicy, and are often associated with a distinctive aroma and the taste of ground and whole spices yet we never overpower the main ingredients of our food with spices.
At ZAF, we believe that if you are not moving forward than you are definitely moving backward. Our modern perception of this royal cuisine makes us stand out from the common British Curry Houses.
Come celebrate divinity with our mouth watering contemporary subcontinent cuisine where you experience the fusion of Authentic South Eastern flavor with the Western taste & approach.
You never had it better!!
