Rajasthan II Indian Restaurant
Indian Restaurant in The City
Working in the City I have visited many curry houses in Brick Lane and surrounding areas. I am not a curry expert but do enjoy Indian food. I must say that I had a fabulous evening with 11 workmates. Staff were courteous and immaculate. Food was good, prices were within what I'd expect to pay for this part of London.
I'd use again without hesitation.
With the famed curry houses of Brick Lane 10 mins down the road, the Rajasthan II on the aptly-named India Street, just off Minories is a preferred alternative. The decor is welcoming, the staff always as impeccably dressed as they are friendly, and the food is extraordinary. Combining traditional indian cuisine with the British favourites of tikka masala, madras and jalfrezi, any Londonite will be impressed with the flavour from the dishes. Having visited this place on numerous occasions, I have never been disappointed - neither with the food nor the service. For a fabulous feed, expect to pay no more than about £25 per person including a bottle of wine or a few pints of Kingfisher. Enjoy!
