Wonderful food and atmosphere. Owners Venus and Michael are the perfect hosts - warm, friendly and great fun. Prices are very reasonable and as if that wasn't enough you can even bring your own alcohol!

Surely one of the best restaurants in West London.

Eating at the Siam Orchid with Venus as our hostess and Michael working his magic in the kitchen is a regular treat for us. In 3 years of visiting we have continued to be delighted and have our expectations exceeded.

Last night was one of those times, we went for supper with a friend for his birthday (also a regular patron for Friday night take away) and Venus was as welcoming as ever.

The lamb curry special was recommended, cooked to order for 3 of our table with varying spiciness and perfect for each of them.

The Siam doesn't have a licensed bar and the BYO policy works really well for us. The food is really well priced, especailly for London and the quality of every dish.

Service is attentive, personal, friendly without being pushy or overbearing. Venus and her team know just how to make you feel special. Pete even got a birthday cake with candles last night that appeared out of the blue at the end of our meal. He was, needless to say, really touched by the heartfelt gesture.

We love the Siam Orchid, we know you will have a really warm welcome when you visit, it's a little piece of Thailand in London town

I am a regular customer of this restaurant for several reasons. First of all when you enter the restaurant you are welcomed by friendly staff and traditional and authentic décor to submerge you into the warm atmosphere.
The décor is not the only traditional and authentic accomplishment in the Siam Royal Orchid. The food is flavoursome, making you want to go back for more!
The menu consists of more traditional dishes that are less familiar to Thai restaurants in London. In addition to the more traditional menu, Siam Royal Orchid have diversified offering lunch time specials such as the Jack Daniels Beef curry.
Although not traditionally Thai the specials dishes bring a new flavour and are very tasty. The desserts like the main dishes, come more traditional and contemporary, an example of the latter is deep fried ice cream, an absolute indulgence.

This restaurant ticks all the right boxes, along with all the positives that have been mentioned the Siam Royal Orchid also allows you to bring your own alcoholic beverages supplying you the rest, not lacking on great hospitality every time!

I go to this restaurant very often for many years now with my friends and family and there are many reasons to why this is. The food is top quality, fresh and delicious and for me this is Thai at its best. The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming with the decor and the very friendly staff. The price is very reasonable considering the quality of the food. The chef is also very friendly, very talented and very dedicated. He also holds regular cooking classes which I have attended and found it both interesting and informative. This really shouldn't be missed! All in all, very good food, very friendly staff and very reasonably priced. My experiences at this restaurant has always been enjoyable.

Dishes too small and significantly overpriced, even by London Thai restaurant standards. The yum woon sen was frankly pathetic both in terms of taste, quantity and corrent ingredients. The po taek (for two) had several of the right ingedients but not enough of them.

Basically this is Thai food for those that have never had the real thing (or perhaps don't want it) and who think nothing of paying £7 for a dish that is neither authentic nor large enough and even if it were should cost no more than half.

I am a food fanatic and I have been all over London to so many restruants. But this one is my favourite so many reasons. Firstly the service and athmosphere are second to none in London, then the food is really delicious every time, and finally the prices are incredible cheap considering the quality. This is a must try for all food fans in London.. Sean from Ireland

Simply amazing Thai food. Not the usual Thai for tourist stuff.
Excellent food, excellent decor, friendly service and very reasonable price. Ask about the specials, the beef hotpot is amazing.
They don't have a licence so it is BYO and they only take cash.
The location is slightly out of the way, but it is well worth the effort.
Have your say
