This place is a real find famous for it's jazz singing waitresses who perform in between serving the food and also do big show piece numbers too.
The performances are fantastic and I can't rate them highly enough. Where were these talented singers on x factor and Britain’s got talent.
The talent is so good one of them signed a record deal "the singing waitress Victoria Hart" who sang for George Clooney. and others were on BBC1 last year and as good if not better
The food also is a great surprise our starters a Devon crab and lovely terrine a delight, for mains a georgeous Fish cake with poached egg.. so good i asked for the recipe also there filet steak was sublime. Deserts we had nougat glace and a fantastic array of cheeses. Finally good wines and cocktails in the bar. In a nut shell a sexy venue with sexy singer’s great food and drink and with hints of New York cool.
If you think talent is in short supply, then pop into the Naked Turtle where the waiters and waitresses are all professional singers. So much so that three of the staff were the stars of the small screen, appearing on John Barrowman’s BBC 1 show Tonight’s The Night. and another was the now famous Victoria Hart the Singing Waitress descovered by George Clooney... In fact the raison d’être of this restaurant and bar is to turn it into a jazz venue, with live music six nights a week.
The cuisine is provided by French chef Manuel Dupont and is a fusion of english and french with fine localy sourced ingredients at it's core.
Kids are welcome at weekends with healthy meals and kids cartoons and play area available.
