Great, tasty, eclectic food

If the sound of roasted chickpeas mixed with crispy dried meat, cooked in Ethiopian batter, simmered in red onion, garlic ginger and served in a sizzling clay pot doesn’t make you salivate, quite frankly what will? The Queen of Sheba is popular with Ethiopian expats and vegetarians.

Sorry ! this is crazy. This restaurant is out of this world. The atmosphere is always amazing -always full with a great vibe, LOVELIEST staff, delicious food. They are happy to make un-exotic, off menu stuff for my kids while we eat utterly GORGEOUS cuisine . So lucky to have it at end of our road!

The atmosphere of this place is great, and the staff are absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately the food is it's weakness, i think. I've been here twice and sampled quite a lot of their dishes, as both times there have been four of us sharing all our food. The food is well made, but we all just felt that it wasn't very thrilling. I'm not sure if thats just the nature of the cuisine, or this particular restaurant. Bill was reasonable: £100 for 4 of us (3 starters, one large platter, two other mains and drinks). I just think that in this area of london there are so many gorgeous eateries that this one is not one to which i would make a third visit.
