First time to order takeaway from this place.Just had set meal for one- £10.95. Keema nan, papadums, prawn puri starter, bombay potatoes, lamb bhuna, pilau rice. Delivered within 30 minutes.I thought that because you had the choice from the menu of starter, side dish and main to go with the rest that the portions would be small. All were full size. Food was very good. This has got to be the best value and most food I have had from any curry house for £10.95. Really good food at a great price always goes down well in my book. Well worth a try.

I crave food from Didar! It's one of the best Indian places I've tried. The food tastes delicious and is really fresh. We usually order for pick-up. What's awesome is the prices -- so incredibly affordable! They're speedy and friendly. The vegetable biryani with their vegetable sauce is amazing. My friends like the chicken biryani. There's a wide selection. We usually get free sauces and a poppadom with our order!

Ordered from Didar a few nights ago. I fancied something basic so ordered chicken tikka masala - which was terrible. Thick slices of chicken in a thick, gloopy very sweet, almost dessert tasting sauce. It tasted as if there was yogurt in the sauce however the yogurt tasted sour. Although they were nice on the phone, delivered in a timely fashion and kindly gave me a papadam for free, due to the terrible food I won't be ordering from them again unless they improve significantly.

We ordered at 8 pm on a Sunday evening and were told it would be a 30 minute wait for delivery. No food had arrived 1hr30 mins later. We called and they said they had lost the food (no, really). It then took and extra half an hour to cancel the order and negotiate getting back a refund for the money we had already paid.

A 2 hour wait and no food. No food to review, no apology and a grudging apololgy. Not good!!

This restaurant serves really nice foor. Probably your stanard 500 dish menu but all of them are really delicious. There is a pick up/take away deal with a curry, rice and naan for a very reasonable price.

You can also take your own botttle of wine for dining in so the meal can end up extremely good value.

Fantastic service too! They also often provide extras in your pick up/take away bag!
