Was staying in Mayfair for a month and walking back one morning after popping out we decided we would just get a bite to eat before we went back home to work.

Had to wait ages to be served (but 7 staff were on duty), had to wait ages for our bill and by far the biggest criticism was the price. 1 small roll - mortadella, and advocado on toast that was not a normal size piece of bread it was just a bit bigger than a canape, 2 lattes - £40.12.

I will repeat, £40.12 for 2 coffees and 2 breakfast rolls. Have travelled all over the World, stayed in amazing hotels all over the World, eaten all over the World and this is by far is the most memorable for being the worst value for money, an absolute.

Went in a few days later to pass on my thoughts and the Manager in charge, Stefan, was belligerent, and defensive, kept on going on about the fact they only use the best ingredients. A large proportion of people on both visits were Gulf Arabs and I pointed out that when the tourists aren't around he will be reliant on other clientele. There was no apology for the fact that I left feeling very disgruntled, he implied, he didn't care anyway.

I cannot stress highly enough, do not under any circumstances visit this or their sister Restaurant. The Owners, and Chef, (I notice Ollie Dabbous) should be disgusted with themselves and take a long hard look at themselves. I repeat 2 lattes and 2 small rolls = £40.12.
