Great food and reasonably priced for central London. This is not a swanky place, but provides great value for money.

Ate here with some friends last night, having been before a couple of years ago. Very disappointing - one of our party found a beetle in his parma ham salad, and was so put off that he couldn't face his main course. Everyone else's food was ok (although the first lot of chips were cold and not cooked properly), but it put a dampener on the whole evening. We asked to see the manager but he was very slow in coming and when he did he gave a very poor apology. He did give us a free bottle of Prosecco and knocked a fair amount off the bill (although we had to fight for it). Won't go there again.

After coming to the restaurant a few times before, I found my last experience very dissapointing. I ordered the same chicken I usually get and recieved a dish that was half the size for the same price, then the waiter had the audacity to palm off 1 bowl of measly chips between 3 people. If this is a sign of the recession that a restaurant tries to palm off a measly meal with bad service, then We're in for worse bad times than I thought. Boularvarde bar and grill you should be ashamed of yourselves

I went with my partner and 2 close friends after a fab day in town. A Monday, not the busiest day of the week so you'd expect restaraunt staff to be on your side. The food, and wine, and selection was really great. We ate from the luxury prix fixe menu, the food was beautifully cooked and attractively presented. The service, though, was a bit on the rough side. We had a very sulky, sultry waiter at table who wasn't interested in writing down our order and so laid the wrong cutlery for each of us. He didn't bother to smile once, didn't bother with 'please' or 'thank you' even though that's how we are and how we spoke to him. He didn't get the optional service charge of £12.80. Disap

After thoroughly enjoying a visit to the sister restaurant, Boulevard Brasserie in Covent Garden, I took my man to Boulevard Dining Room. Really buzzy, full of Soho sophisticates and a lovely atmosphere. Had a few cocktails prepared by the very chatty barmen, brilliant! particularly a champagne based one called a French Revolution. Moved through to the Dining Room, discretely tucked away behind the cocktail bar. Food was just stunning, and my man particularly raved about his curried belly pork with scallops. Good wine list too! I've edged the Dining Room above its sister in score, and given it the perfect 10. Maybe influenced by the company I had, but I did have the perfect night!
