I ate at Meson Bilbao for the first time last night despite having lived around the corner for the past 15 years! We chose a few Tapas all of which were delicious & fresh. The interior is reminiscent of a Tapas bar in Spain with Spanish music playing gently in the background. It was rather quiet, only 2 other couples when we arrived, but I guess this is due to the location & the fact it was a Thursday night.

I would definitely recommend a visit & will be back myself in the near future.

This is our favourite restaurant. It is a fish restaurant with brilliant Tapas which is usually what we have: grilled squid, squid in its ink, jamon, fried aubergine, Spanish black pudding, patatas bravas, prawns in garlic - are the ones that spring to mind. All excellent. And try the Ramon Bilbao white wine.
