Pera

Pera has the best Turkish food I have ever tasted. The outside says kebab but do not be fooled, this is not street food. The food is presented beautifully and the service is outstanding. Of all the options in London this is my number one choice:)

This Sunday we went up to the Rochelle School gallery in Shoreditch for an exhibition and I looked for a local restaurant to take the family and friends. I found Pera on the web and it seemed to have good reviews in general, the menu prices seemed very very reasonable and I thought we should take the chance and book. How pleased am I? What a fantastic meal! The food is just to die for and the portions more than we could eat (although we did enjoy eating ourselves to a standstill). The staff were so helpful and friendly and the kids (for once) all enjoyed their food and tried lots of new dishes they had not tried before. The bill was extremely reasonable for both the food and wine, what a result. Thank you Pera, we will be back as soon as we can.

We have regularly had take away from Pera and the food is great, very fresh. The service is very friendly although you must ensure that everything you asked for is in the bag. The lamb is delicious, and very popular. This is the best turkish food I have ever tasted....well worth a visit and very cheap.
