Although the service was prompt and friendly, the meze we received was very stingy--usually we get too much but we got hardly any pita bread even though there were five of us. I had the lamb cutlets but they were very fatty and did not taste as nice as I would have liked and the chips were very bland and tasteless. My husband and grown-up children were not exactly thrilled with their meals either. TIn all,the food was nothing to write home about and we were very disappointed.

Last night a group of us went to Pasha for supper on the hottest day of the year so far, we had the advantage of a table outside on the pavement which was pleasantly cool - although occasionally noisy from emergency vehicles passing by!

We were promptly served with drinks, but were not pressured to order when one of the group was slightly late in arriving and throughout the meal the service was attentive and friendly. The starters were well proportioned and very tasty. We all chose different main dishes and for all of us the food was deliciously prepared and carefully presented. Three of us had fish; my baked salmon was perfectly cooked with a combination of spices which complimented the flavour of the fish, all of us were very pleased with the food we had ordered and we had a very good bottle of wine. We were also offered bottled or tap water and chose tap. The waiter regularly topped up our water glasses without having to be asked.

The proportions were of a reasonable size - (I dislike being given enormous starters and main courses which mean that a desert is out of the question.) I felt that the food was good value but the drinks were slightly pricey.

We will definitely go to Pasha again, (we had only gone because our usual haunt is closed on a Monday). I hope that the earlier reviewers may give Pasha another chance - I think it has changed a great deal since 2006

Last night, (valentines day), the miss and I had dinner at the Pasha! I cannot even begin to describe how terrible the service was let alone the food!! Absoultley terrible! As soon as we arrived the waiter at the door had said that we had to be seated in the smoking area following my request, two weeks prior,to be seated in the non-smoking area!! After being shown to our table, we were waiting for approx 20mins to be asked whether or not we were ready for any drinks...cheek! We ordered our starter and still we had to wait a long time for 'that' to arrive. That was not the end...we were told that two of the four main dishes on the 'set' menu was not available!! Terrible experience!! Will n

A group of us went to Pasha for a birthday and had the worst experience of any restaurant I have ever been to in London. We were forced to have a set menu by the aggressive waiter; the food brought would have left 2 people hungry. When the bill arrived we were charged for 5 bottles of wine we had not had. The bill was incorrectly amended and they refused to correct it further. We paid what we calculated as due, and did not pay the service, but when we left we were chased down the street and threatened with the police. The waited grabbed my friend and attemted to pull her back to the restaurant. We had to threaten to call the police and report him for harassment before he let us go.
