Chill with cocktails in an Igloo by the Thames

No ordinary igloos

Where: Coppa Club, 3 Quays Walk, Lower Thames Street

Coppa Club is a 250 cover restaurant, built around a brass bar, where the dual pursuits of both working and winding down can be achieved, but we’re not really interested in any of that, we’re interested in what they erected on their front Thames-side terrace. Just in time for winter, Coppa Club have installed a row of igloos, sat tantalisingly close to the water’s edge. Naturally, these are no ordinary igloos - they’re made from clear plastic rather than packed snow. The luxury heated pods come with cosy armchairs and heating control so that you can enjoy the odd cocktail or two with panoramic views of Tower Bridge, the Shard and the rest of the city skyline across the river.

Igloos can be booked at Coppa Club
