Breath in the green...

Where: Tree Talk London

Many people discovered the joy of walking during the lockdowns, along with a renewed interest in nature and particularly, trees.

There are over 400 different species in London, and this remarkable diversity is mostly due to transplantation of trees from all over world in the last 150 years, from Persian silk trees to Norwegian maples.  If you want to learn how to identify them, a good start is the TreeTalk app, which allows you to type in your postcode to generate a local trail complete with descriptions of the trees around you.

Alternatively you can customise a trail entering where you want to start and finish, and the guide will tell you what's surrounding you, along with nearby pubs and cafes.
