Where: Mikkeller Bar London
Another month, another celebrity-backed venue launch in the capital. This time it's Rick Astley teaming up with Danish brewers Mikkeller to open a bar in Shoreditch that will focus on beer (cue the 'never gonna give beer up' chants). Mikkeller already has successful bars in LA, San Francisco, Tokyo and Copenhagen, and in fact this isn't the first time Astley has collaborated with the brand - last year they released Astley’s Northern Hop Lager. It remains to be seen what happens when Scandi beer meets 80s pop in the hippest part of town.
