Eat a carbon neutral steak

It definitely tastes better without the carbon

Where: Gaucho restaurants

In the food world, the latest company to commit to net zero is Rare Restaurants, owners of the Gaucho steakhouses among others. All their eateries are now serving a carbon neutral fillet tail steak called the 'Lomo verde', served with chimichurri sauce, which the company claims will have all its carbon emissions offset through investing in renewable energy and reforestation.

For an additional £2 you can also fund the planting of a sapling tree in Peru. PR stunt or genuine philanthropy? You decide.
