Eat at London's first zero-waste restaurant

Vegetarian, organic, zero waste...

Where: ,a target="new" href="http://www.tinyleaflondon.com/#home" rel="nofollow">Tiny Leaf, Notting Hill

The meals at this restaurant are prepared entirely from food that would otherwise have gone to waste. Supermarkets, food distributors, farms and other retailers generously give their unwanted produce to the people at Tiny Leaf, who then transform them into things like miso rice cakes with kimchi, and lemon and quinoa cakes. The venue takes up four whole floors: there's the restaurant itself, two cocktail bars with an emphasis on botanical ingredients, and rooms for events and film screenings. It's a pop-up for now, but only while they're seeking a permanent site.
