Don’t believe it when people tell you there’s nothing good about Mondays because it’s not true. Firstly, there’s the Wetherspoon Mexican Monday at which you can get a burrito and a beer for less than the price of a pint in almost any other London pub. Second, there’s the free comedy night at Stratford Theatre Royal, which is bound to make you smile – and maybe even laugh, hopefully.
Hosted in the bar, Comedy Mondays is one of London’s longest established free comedy shows. Comics come to test their material on a non-paying crowd and in return you get to either laugh at their jokes or react in such a manner as to inspire them to get funnier in future. Either way, free comedy
