Talk about death

Attend a Death Cafe

Where: Various locations

While most of us skirt around the subject of being buried six feet under, Death Cafes were set up for people to meet up and talk about the issue in an impartial, practical manner over coffee and cake.

It's not a counselling session, more like a friendly chat about life and its inevitable end. They're run on a non-profit basis with no lectures or set agenda. Locations vary - there have been picnics in parks, meet-ups at the Royal Festival Hall, and sessions on canal boats.
