The humble salad rarely gets much love, even though you can pretty much throw in any ingredients you like and still feel you're eating healthily. The team behind the Salad Project are on to this, piling global flavours into their bowls - like the 'curry mango cauli' with red rice, spinach and Asian slaw topped with roasted corn, smoked almonds, tahini cauliflower and avocado doused in a spicy mango dressing. It's certainly not your average green salad.
Alternatively you can build your own to your heart's content. It's little wonder that their four branches dotted around town (three of which are in the city) get very busy - during weekday lunchtimes there are often queues winding out onto the street.
