We've had hotdogs and champagne, now it's time for meatballs and bubbly. Searcys may be better known as a high end champagne bar, but they've decided to respond to customer demand - and no doubt to the trend for gourmetising junk food - by serving pork or beef meatballs with delectable fizz. If the concept works, which given Londoners' current appetite for burgers and steaks there's no reason it shouldn't, it will be rolled out across their other venues, such as St. Pancras Station and The Gherkin.
