Just when you thought it wasn't possible to come up with any more food unusual pairings, the chef at Berners Tavern and the founder of the Rare Tea Co have gone and done it. Together they've created a menu of food to go with tea that is radically different to the cucumber sandwich and English Breakfast tradition. Options include miso cured salmon with caviar and Japanese green sencha tea. The new menu is called 'scandal water' named after the Victorian slang term for tea (we're not sure why either). It's available every Friday and Saturday from 3pm.
