They say you must never speak ill of the dead, however if the deceased happens to be a clown, it seems it's ok to dance on their grave. At least according to Joseph Grimaldi, a 19th century pantomime clown who has a park named after him in Islington. His grave is enclosed by fencing with two clown masks hanging from metal spikes, and a plaque is inscribed with "RIP Joseph Grimaldi 1778 - 1837." A series of bronze tiles (located on the other side of the park however) invites visitors to dance on them, playing chimes with each step.
