Because we all start somewhere, it's well worth checking out the gourmet food offered by the student chefs at Westminster Kingsway College. Each week they're serving up a different tasting menu to showcase their skills while focusing on British produce. For instance past dishes have included roasted fillet of beef and ox cheek pastry with bubble and squeak and purple sprouting broccoli. The meals are served in the grand Vincent Rooms which opened in 1910, plus they're a bargain at £27.50 or £55.00 with matching wines. Plus, it's worth bearing in mind that Jamie Oliver and Ainsley Harriott learnt their skills here.
