One of Hampstead's little known highlights is the pergola, a beautiful terraced spot lined with bushy greenery. It was designed by one William H Lever, 1st Viscount Leverhulme, who was a wealthy English industrialist, philanthropist, and politician.
The abundance of foliage makes it a popular spot for photoshoots - in spring the trelisses are coated in lilac wisteria, while in autumn it's coloured by the vivid reds and golds of the leaves.
Unsurprisingly, it's also available to hire for weddings, but be warned it'll set you back ££££s.
