Fotoura presents a selection of photographs from the 2013 International Street Photography Awards.

Over 5,000 images were submitted to this year’s Awards, by 800 entrants from 70 different countries. Winners in each of two main categories, Open and Student, were chosen by a panel of industry experts. An additional category – the Public vote – was decided by 6,000 votes from across the world.

Entrants were asked to work within the genre of Street Photography and to adhere to the theme ‘Hometown’.

This international street photography exhibition is a visual exploration of the variety of ways that living in a place affects how it is perceived and experienced by its inhabitants. It also serves as a compendium of extraordinary moments drawn from the daily lives of first rate photographers whose work displays the diversity of both their cultural backgrounds and aesthetic styles. Without leaving London, visitors will be privileged with a unique glimpse into foreign towns and cities all around the world as seen through the eyes of those who know them best.

Come take a photographic journey through Hoek van Holland, Cassia, London, Guatemala City, Chicago, Amsterdam, Kosovo, Lisbon, Dublin, New York City, Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Rome, Manchester, Dakovica, Taiwan, Venice, Miami, Paris, Vienna, Hanoi, Zadar, Melbourne, Girona, Barcelona, and Washington DC, and many more...
