The IET Young Woman Engineer of the Year Award (YWE) honours the very best early career female engineers working in the UK today, and seeks to highlight the achievements of women in engineering and to encourage others to enter the profession.
This year, the finalists include:

Yasmin Ali, Operations Engineer, E.ON, London
The award will be given out at a glittering celebratory evening by BBC 2’s Professor Alice Roberts on Thursday 5 December 2013 at The Pullman London St Pancras Hotel, NW1 2AJ. Mingle with the Award sponsors from 18:00, followed by the ceremony at 19:00 and a sparkling wine reception from 20:00.
