This year we are focusing on practical advice on ways in which artists successfully live and work, establishing a career in the arts and the creative industry. You will get practical and inspirational advice, with specific “how to” examples and tools to not only make a living but thrive through working in the arts.
The confirmed speakers to date include:

Importance of the performing arts within the community and economic growth: How can you training and experience be used in a wider context and also help build your career
Victoria Sin – Artist
Victoria will be giving a short talk about her experience building a business and reputation as an artist, illustrator and brand from the ground up. She will discuss how as a start up she took the initiative to make money from her art and give practical advice to young artists who wish to do the same.
The second part of the conference will consist of practical workshops to help you not only save but also make money. E.g: book self publishing, how artists can same money in the recession and more!
