The Clever Old Woman

Shobu Kapoor (Citizen Khan, Bend it Like Beckham) brings to life this enchanting Indian folk tale, set at Diwali, the Hindu festival of light. A poor old woman with a fractious family prays for them to make peace to no avail. It so happens that the Queen has lost a diamond necklace and promises a reward for its return. When the old woman finds it, she promptly takes it to the queen. Clearly, this lucky find will solve all her problems. Or will it?
