The Drowned Girl

Kelly knew she wanted to be a mermaid the moment she gaffa taped a cornflakes box to her legs. But sadly this was just a fantasy. Kelly can’t swim and has an overwhelming fear of drowning.
The Drowned Girl is a one women play about broken dreams and the never ending romantic tragedies we have with ‘perfect versions’ of ourselves. Enter a world of reality drowned by fantasy where Kelly undresses from her stretch marked skin and tells tales of her mermaid years.
