Kiss me, Figaro! is a romantic comedy about the backstage passions of a touring opera company that draws on classic favourites from opera and music theatre. This is musical theatre like you’ve never seen before with music by Handel, Monteverdi, Mozart, Puccini, Brahms and Irving Berlin. Performed by a cast of 9 performers this will appeal to opera connoisseurs and newcomers alike and to all ages. Written by John Ramster with music arranged by Stephen Hose.

Merry Opera is a registered charity that aims to widen the audience for opera and at the same time to provide experience for up-and-coming professionals of any age and nationality. This performance is part of the More London Free Festival's Free Fringe season (4-20 June) where you can enjoy an eclectic mix of free music, dance, theatre and opera.

The More London Free Festival is a free outdoor festival at The Scoop at More London on the Southbank opposite the Tower of London. From 4 June - 26 September the sunken amphitheatre, The Scoop, comes alive with a jam-packed programme of free music, dance, award-winning theatre, films and, this year for the first time, live tennis coverage from Wimbledon. There are no tickets - just turn up and enjoy the show!

I absolutely loved this show. I saw it in Riverside - so jumped at the chance to see it again. I prefer the cast at Riverside- but this cast was still good. Kristin Finnigan was the stand out performer for me. A rich contralto voice- such a rarity! Jenny Stafford acted beautifully and has a lovely voice. Tom Elwin sings well- his acting was a little lack lustre at times but still good. What a show. I hope it returns to London soon.
