'Hamlet' is a thrilling adventure story with castles, ghosts, graveyards, pirates, players and politicians.

Shakespeare was born in rural England 450 years ago but has proved to be a writer not just for all time but for all people and cultures. He is the world’s poet and Hamlet is the most complete expression of his unique ability to show ourselves as we truly are and tell a terrific story at the same time. Hamlet himself, in the moment of performance and from his place at the centre of our global cultural ‘genome’, speaks directly to every member of the human race showing and sharing our hopes and fears, our doubts, our despair, our moments of joy, of friendship and love.

Hamlet is a domestic tragedy of two families, of mums and dads, sons and daughters, of love, longing, loss and the ultimate failure of each generation to live up to the expectations of the one that follows.

To buy a ticket for both shows - Festen and Hamlet at a discounted rate, please call the box office on 0207 258 2925.
