‘Conjugal Visit: New Disasterware™’ By Charles Krafft

American born artist Charles Krafft’s iconic work specialises in what he refers to as ‘Disasterware’; classical decorative ceramics that commemorate modern disasters. His previous subjects have stretched from tragedies such as the death of Amy Winehouse to modern political figures such as Kim Jong Il. Krafft’s delicate work is all created and finished by hand, following the time-honoured traditional techniques of the ceramicist, giving his work a modern folk feel.
