LWE NYD 2016 presents: Dream Don’t Sleep at Tobacco Dock

Following on from the huge successes of their 2014 and 2015 parties, LWE are expecting their 2016 New Year’s Day party to hit a whole new level.

Set to transform the Grade 1 listed Tobacco Dock for another incredible celebration, LWE are proud to announce that Maceo Plex and his Dream Don’t Sleep concept will headline The Great Gallery - with very special guests Âme also bringing their remarkable live showcase. LWE favourite Anja Schneider - who has been Tobacco Dock resident this year – is scheduled to play an extended set in the venues iconic car park, with no doubt that she will create many more of the magic moments that fans have come to expect. Support also comes from B.Traits, Adam Beyer Huxley, Citizenn, Bicep and many more.

With 16 frames of images per second creating a moving image, 16 bars in a lot of your favourite songs, 16 mm film in your movies and 16bit created the most iconic video game characters - the number 16 is surrounded by creativity, symbolising great change and evolution. The century comes of age hitting the sweet-sixteenth year, and energised by the number, LWE are going to make LWE NYD 2016 the best one yet.
