Celebrate America’s favourite national holiday with America’s national dish plus lashings of South Carolina hospitality. An elegant yet lively American Thanksgiving of food, craft beer, small batch Virginia Bourbon, and clever cocktails.

Hot on the heels of their sell-out first pop in London, Lincoln Chilli is pushing the boat out for its next Thanksgiving dinner, on Saturday 21st November at Maple & Fitz. Alongside their highly rated favourite chilli recipes, guests will get to experience their new melt in the mouth, perfectly spiced, slow cooked turkey chilli with homemade sage cornbread. Who needs cranberry sauce when you can have a smoky cranberry-mezcal cocktail? Plain green beans become smoked cheddar jalapeno. And there is Pumpkin Pie on the menu for the diehard givers of thanks.

Lincoln Chilli is the brainchild of friends Dan Gibney and Matt Glassman, who next year plan to open a Lincoln Chilli restaurant in central London. These supperclubs are a way of practising recipes and gaining feedback before the big reveal in 2016.

Matt Glassman - born and raised in Virginia and now a firm Londoner - has spent years cooking and collecting recipes around what is officially America's national dish, including his family's jealously-guarded slow-cooked brisket chilli recipe known as "Lincoln Chilli".

Guests will find little resemblance between Lincoln's complex, authentic creations and the oft clumsily put together 'Chilli con Carne' - a UK Tex-Mex relic from 1980's menus often served with guacamole and tortillas. Delicately marrying many of the 'low and slow' smoked flavours of his native South with spices and well-sourced meats and produce from other parts of the US, Matt loves telling the story of the American diaspora through its regional chilli recipes. The differences are astounding and make for a truly memorable menu and experience for those who love dining with a story behind it.

For vegetarian guests - or those just wanting some veg in their diets – there are some stunning vegetarian chillis on offer, including a Berkeley Mushroom recipe and the boys’ original spiced jackfruit version too.
