"A beautiful album" - Chris Philips, Jazz FM

"Correa throws in Van Van style montunos and deft soul-jazz stylings into an album that surprises, delights and grooves." – Jane Cornwell, Jazzwise

Eliane Correa is a Latin pianist, composer, bandleader and wonderer of the Earth. Having carved out her career in London in recent years, most notably as writer and performer in global urban music collective WARA, Eliane's multifarious identities as an artist is striking in the sheer diversity of musical forms she breathes so naturally.

Rumba Con Flores was recorded in Havana in Cuba and London where over thirty musicians were invited to bring to flower the compositions written, in their entirety, by Eliane. The album showcases Eliane's deep devotion to jazz and the Afro Cuban tradition and her ability to take these cherished forms and create a wonderfully fluid record that pays tribute to the past but also expresses her love of the current sounds of neo-soul, RandB and urban Latino music.

Rumba Con Flores is as much a poised slice of soulful and jazzy musicianship as it is a storytelling device that trails Eliane's much travelled path from her early immigrant childhood in Luxembourg to her time in Cuba and her continued visits back to her family home in Buenos Aires punctuated by many musical stops in Africa and the Caribbean.
