Far From The Western Front; Food in the Trenches

Come along to the Asian Centre to our exhibition and food demonstrations exploring South Asian soldiers and the food they ate during the First World War.

The exhibition will explore the displacement Asian soldiers experienced in the trenches, the food that was provided and how it differed from their 'home' food culture.

Also exploring British efforts regarding culture and the struggle of maintaining the nutritional and cultural needs and measuring how these adapt when in the trenches far from home.
