On Tuesday 14th February Junkyard Golf Club invite crazy golf fans to ‘Share The Love’ at a Valentine’s Day celebration raising money for Love Specs, aka Love Support Unite, a charity sustainably supporting communities in Malawi. All ticket revenue taken at Junkyard’s Brick Lane, London venue will be donated to the charity. Tickets can be booked now from junkyardgolfclub.co.uk.

In 2016 Junkyard Golf Club raised £13,000 for their partner charity, Love Support Unite, and in 2017 Junkyard is aiming even higher. The first of these feel-good fundraisers arrives in the form of ‘Share The Love’, a Valentine’s Day celebration open to all, couples, singles, friends and more. As per usual lip-smacking cocktails, danceable tunes and of course a whole host of crazy golf courses to master will be on offer - alongside the chance to make a huge difference to communities in Malawi. On a day stereotypically associated with chocolates, fancy restaurants, diamonds and more material spending, ‘Share The Love’ is a chance to do something different.

About the charity:

Love Support Unite are a dynamic, grass roots charity changing lives everyday with their unique model of sustainable education. They partner with communities in Malawi to create sustainable solutions to poverty to bring about lasting and measurable change through their holistic model of development, Foundations For The Future. This blueprint for success will be shared with other communities in Malawi and across the world for maximum impact. Through connection and love, Love Support Unite offer support, hope and the opportunity for transformation.

To support and sustain all their amazing projects Love Support Unite created Love Specs. Sold at festivals across Europe and both Junkyard Golf Club venues, Love Specs have won the support from artists such as Rudimental, Zane Lowe, Ed Sheeran and many more.

About Junkyard Golf Club:

Launched in Manchester in late 2015, Junkyard Golf Club is the brainchild of Chris Legh, James Bart Murphy and Lyndon Higginson. The trio applied their expertise from the bar, club, leisure and entertainment sectors to create a unique, madcap and ‘good times’ destination. Twisted crazy golf courses emerge from reclaimed and repurposed items, everything from a speedboat to a life-size plastic cow via slides and UV paint. Add to this numerous bars serving beers, frozen margaritas and cocktails, street food and tunes for the perfect house-party vibes. Following Manchester’s huge success Junkyard Golf Club landed on London’s Brick Lane in May 2016. The pop-up’s run in the capital has taken the city by storm and is now extended through 2017, with the party also continuing at Junkyard’s Manchester location.
