¡Hola! Learn Spanish while Tasting Tapas Recipes

You know those amazing tapas that you'd love to make in your own kitchen? Well in this Spanish lesson you'll learn the lingo and get to know great recipes.

Explore recipe books from famous Spanish kitchens and eat FREE TAPAS prepared by the expert in-house chef at Waterstones Tottenham Court Road. The Spanish crew will get you speaking Spanish from the get go in this fun, social lesson!

Here's a glimpse of the night’s plan:

18:30: Arrive and settle in with a mini challenge.
19:00: Introduction to the lingo with team tasks guided by a qualified teacher (the structured bit).
19:40: Get stuck into naming the ingredients, exploring the recipes and tasting the free tapas using your newly gained language skills to give your opinions (the informal, social bit).
20:30: Show off your new language skills to the class and get feedback from the Spanish crew (the show-off bit).
21:00: Go home with a vocabulary list the length of your arm ready to flaunt your skills at work the next day (job done).

The Spanish you'll learn:
Name the recipes that you taste.
Describe their ingredients.
Give your opinion.
Recognise gender and definite articles.

This Spanish night is designed to help complete beginners and those with the basics (less than a year's study) get to grips with some of the lingo. No prior knowledge of Spanish is needed.
