A week-long celebration, starting on 27th February, will pay tribute to the history and roots of the University of Westminster through various events showcasing the work of staff, students, alumni and friends of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities.

Lunchtime sessions and evening talks, which cover cultural, political or educational topics, will be led by prominent speakers and open to students as well as to the general public throughout the Difference Festival.

Babak Anvari, Westminster alumnus and director of BAFTA-winning film Under the Shadow, will be among the key speakers on the last day of the Difference Festival, introducing his outstanding directorial debut and taking part in Q&A session. Under the Shadow has also been selected as the UK entry for the 2017 Best Foreign Language film Oscar. The event will take place on 3rd March from 1-2 pm at Regent Street Campus
