8:00PM CAROLINE LOFTUS An artist of international standing, Caroline was featured on a number of tracks for the 2009 BBC “Children in Need” album as well as several of her own records including the 2006 release, “Urban Lullabies”. Her CV includes work at prestigious venues around the world, including the Sydney Opera House, Hong Kong Arts Centre and the Nederland Dance Theatre. She currently performs with several groups, including FRED, an homage to “1950’s Havana & the swinging sounds of Hollywood” and has been busy writing music for American TV via her project “Riveraire”. For her 606 show tonight Caroline will lead a stellar modern jazz quartet featuring the wonderful Ben Hazleton on bass. A sophisticated and exciting gig from one of the masters of jazz vocals.
