We’re bringing the Soul and Funk back to 229 in April. This bill sees a handful of awesome acts play that are set to not only impress, but captivate you.

Topping the evening’s bill is Toby. London based Toby will be joining us with his live band for the show, playing his brand of Jazzy Blues, topped by soulful, distinctive vocals that have been gaining him a lot of attention on the Capital’s circuit of late.

EnaFay has a unique voice and writing style that has seen her compared to artists such as Florence and the Machine, Kate Bush and Bjork, creating her own experimental Soul/Art Pop. Joined by her band for the evening, she’s something special.

David F Walker is a London based singer-songwriter, who’s a chilled out R&B stylings and soft, soulful vocals will captivate the audience. David will be performing with his band for the evening to fill out his sumptuous sound.

Hailing from a small Welsh village, but now based in France, JaYd is a self-taught musician who has appeared on French TV with her feel good Pop!

Local singer-songwriter, George House will be playing an Acoustic Pop set with elements of Soul and R&B that gives him a real edge.

Opening the show is Franc & Baby Pink. This producer and singer-songwriter duo have joined forces to create Soulful Electro/Pop with a dreamy, chilled out vibe.
